Ganshodo, in addition to its existing role as an antiquarian bookseller, will handle both new and vintage artworks, and undertake the planning, production, and sale of editioned artworks based on Japanese art.

We are currently in the process of commercialization negotiations with several artists and related parties.
We are also actively promoting collaborations with galleries, publishers, and companies in Japan and abroad to explore new developments in art works.

■ Antiquarian Bookseller
We collect and sell only those volumes that possess value as art pieces, selected through comprehensive appraisal of their cultural context, rarity, and state of preservation—not merely as second-hand books. We offer unique items, curated with discerning expertise, to collectors, researchers, and galleries.

Ganshodo has been a long-established antiquarian bookstore in Kanda Jimbocho since 1901. Our mission is to bring traditional Japanese prints and contemporary creativity to customers around the world.
